How often are the lists updated?
All of the lists that are offered go through regular updating.  Major updating will normally occur on a quarterly schedule, while some are updated every 30 days. 

The US Postal Service nows requires all marketing databases to be run against the National Change of Address file within 95 days of your mailing to be in compliance.  All suppliers that we work with now NCOA their lists every 30-45 days to meet these standards.

Are there restrictions on the usage?
All mail lists are provided for a single mailing usage unless otherwise requested.  If your marketing plan calls for multiple mailings, we are able to provide this type of usage from most of our vendors.

Other specific restrictions also exist.  These can include such things as merge/purge processing, using the list as a database and reselling the mail list to others.  Please inquire if you have any questions.

Are sample mailing pieces required?
When ordering lists from mail order, subscription and response lists a sample will be required for usage approval.  The sample provided should be as complete as possible to help speed up the approval process.

What formats are available when ordering a mail list?
Today the most common format is providing your list via email or FTP delivery.  Labels, discs and cd-rom’s are also available from some providers.

How long does it take to receive counts and orders?
Counts can normally be provided within 24 hours of your request.  In some cases, if your reqeust requires multiple lists counts, the time frame can take an extra day or two. 

Orders can be processed and sent within 24-72 hours once all counts and ordering requirements are met.  The normal turnaround time is 24 hours.

Will prepayment be required?
Yes, any first time client or user of a specific list will be required to prepay their initial order.  Acceptable methods for payment include check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover Card.

Do any guarantees exist?
If a source that we work with offers a guarantee, BDirect Marketing will also honor it.  However, in most cases BDirect Marketing cannot offer any guarantee because the source of the list does not provide one.

BDirect Marketing will make every attempt to offer those lists that best meet your marketing efforts.  BDirect Marketing assumes that each list offered is complete and accurate.
